Meet your doula
Hi! My name is Nadrina, and I am a birth and postpartum doula and lactation counselor whose approach is grounded in close and active listening. I see birth as a testament to the power of the mind, the body, and sometimes of medicine, and am continually amazed by the process. I’m honored to be a part of such a personal and intimate experience for the clients I serve.
Birth and new parenthood can be unpredictable, and I am here as a trusted resource and listening ear to help you navigate the experience. When it comes to birth and postpartum, I believe that each family’s journey is so unique and that as a result there is no one size fits all approach. My goal is to center your voice throughout the process to help meet your individual needs and help you feel empowered and confident in your decisions. My ultimate goal is give you the unbiased information, tools, and support to make the best decisions for you and your family - whether that be a natural or medicated birth, bottle or breast, sleep training or not.
I live in Prospect Heights with my dog, Frank. In my free time I enjoy long walks through the park with Frank, cooking up a storm for friends, and reading in the sun. Prior to becoming a doula, I received my BA in modern Middle Eastern history from Yale University and worked in political and nonprofit consulting.
